ECS Group Give Support to Mandala Airlines Cargo Operation

As an Indonesian budget airline (low-cost-carrier) with its commitment for life style, business, and holiday to their customers by managing priorities on punctual schedule (On Time Performance/OTP), safety, and convenience greatly, Mandala Airline (Tigerair Mandala) signs working agreement with ECS Group as a partner to operate the Mandala Airline cargo on 1 July 2013 at Cengkareng.
Through this partnership that will start to work officially on 1 July 2013, ECS will represent and market the cargoes in A320 plane operated by Mandala Airlines.
Paul Rombeek, the President Director of Mandala Airlines said, "Mandala Airlines as an airlines company under Tiger Airways Group accept this strategic partnership with ECS Group as the right and strategic steps to maximize route profitability in line with the increase of cargo capacity use through collaboration in our network.
Mandala Airlines has been operating again for more than one year; and besides purchasing more fleets consistently, they also adds more routes from Yogyakarta and Pekanbaru (Riau) to other cities in Indonesia and South East Asia. Then, they also launched Call Center, and Airport Ticket Office (ATO) and City Ticketing Office (CTO) in some cities in Indonesia. Starting on 24 July 2013, Mandala Airlines will be the only one LCC Indonesia that will directly fly from Jakarta - Hong Kong without transit. Mandala Airlines will also open a new route, Surabaya (East Java) - Bangkok (Thailand), and add Jakarta - Surabaya daily route starting on 2 August 2013.

We believe through the network expansion of Tiger, the increase of cargo delivery will raise, said Roland Quah, the Chief Operating Officer of Asia Pacific ECS.
ECS is a very well known cargo company operated in Europe, United States, and Asia. It offers some services like Total Cargo Management Solution, GSSA - General Sales & Services Agency, GHA - Ground Handling Agency, and Charter Operation to some airlines in the world. ECS also offers outsourcing solution to airlines for air cargo delivery that consist of:
1) Delivery Handling
2) Selling, Reservation, Supporting System Operation and Transfer Process to other delivery system.
3) Business Expansion, Contract, Accountancy, Claim handing and Ramp & Warehouse Custody.
This partnership will help Tiger Airways Group and its airline partners to be able to maximize their cargo operation without owning a special team or area that is dedicated to do cargo services selling.(mar)
