Oman Air Opens Jakarta - Muscat Direct Flight
On Sunday, Des 14, 2014), at 01.50pm, at the north runway of International Soekarno-Hatta Airport (CGK), inauguration of the first arrival of Oman Air's Jakarta - Muscat Direct Flight was conducted. Two cars of the port fire rescue department did water salute.This inauguration marks the first direct service of Oman Air between Indonesia and Oman with route of CGK (Cengkareng) - MCT (Muscat) and MCT - CGK.

Beginning January 2015, the Oman Air will fly four times a week (1,3,5,7), departs at 15.50 (ETD) from CGK and arrives in Muscat at 20.55 (ETA).
Oman Air's new Airbus A330-300 features 24 new Business Class seats designed by BE Aerospace.Fitted in a 2-2-2 configuration, each comfortable and spacious 21-inch wide seat converts to a 77-inch long,fully flat bed. Oman Air's superb service, state-of-the-art inflight entertainment system and pioneering mobile phone and wi-fi connectivity can be enjoyed throughout the aircraft.
The launch of the Jakarta service, together with that of the new service to Manila, marks the start of Oman Air's latest ambitious programme of growth. This sees the airline's fleet strength increase from 30 aircraft to around 50 over the next three years. The expanded fleet will enable Oman Air to offer customers a greater choice of destinations, increased frequencies on established routes and more convenient connections at Muscat International Airport. It will also offer unbeatable levels of comfort and amenity, building on Oman Air's reputation for offering an outstanding passenger experience.
The new service builds on the powerful and long-standing cultural and economic links that have been established between Indonesia and the Sultanate of Oman. It will also give travellers from Indonesia the opportunity to enjoy Oman's renowned hospitality, rich culture and unspoilt beauty. Furthermore, upon arrival in Muscat (MCT), they will be benefit from easy access to a wide range of outstanding destinations across the Middle East (14 destinations), Indian Sub Continent (17 destinations), East Africa (2 destinations), Asia (4 destinations) and Europe (6 destinations) via Oman Air's expanding network.
