On the 31st Oct, Jin Air loaded a cargo of about 23 tons of electronic components such as displays on the B777-200ER airliner and transported it to LA, USA. Jin Air operated the B777-200ER passenger plane on the Incheon-LA cargo route and operated by the Belly Cargo method, which operates the entire lower part of the fuselage as a cargo compartment.

This Incheon-LA route is the first case of a domestic low-cost airline operating to the mainland of the United States. In the future, Jin Air is planning to secure demand for various high value-added cargoes by utilizing large-sized B777-200ER aircraft that can fly to the Americas and Europe.

Earlier, Jin Air is the first Korean low-cost airline to convert one B777-200ER airliner into a cargo-only aircraft, and is also running a cargo seat bag that can carry cargo on behalf of passengers on the seat of a regular airliner.

Jin Air said, “Through the support of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's prompt administrative procedures, we were able to perform timely renovation of cargo-only aircraft, including operation of Incheon-LA routes, and operation of cargo seat bags.” And I will do my best to generate continuous profits.”
