The Jakarta Air Cargo Community (JACC), comprising airliners, forwarders, warehouse operators, and ground handlers, has once again revitalized its activities as the year 2024 comes to an end.

On Friday, December 13, 2024, at approximately 6:00 PM, JACC hosted its Year-End Party at 21 Club, PIK, North Jakarta. The event, themed “AJOY of The Year,” radiated joy and vibrant colors, as reflected in promotional materials like banners, social media posts on Facebook and Instagram, videotrons on the event stage, and guests’ eccentric 1980s-inspired outfits.

The event was hosted by the familiar duo of Andy Rifai and Ketutayu Budiani. It began with a nostalgic video showcasing highlights of JACC's social and community activities since its inception. Attendance exceeded expectations, with over 210 guests present. The enthusiastic atmosphere was palpable, with attendees donning bold costumes, singing and dancing along with live bands, and sharing laughter and cheers that truly made the evening unforgettable.

One of the highlights was the costume contest, celebrating the colorful fashion of the 1980s. Winners included: Women’s Category: 1) Monica, 2) Ati, 3) Shabia; and, Men’s Category: 1) Brahmanto, 2) Lody, 3) Bestly

Guests were also entertained by live music performances from the orchestra band Kopi dan Kretek (KDK) and the home band BandJamins, which kept everyone singing and dancing throughout the evening.

The celebration included an exquisite dinner, lively music, and exciting door prizes such as shopping vouchers, portable bluetooth speakers, an air fryer, a 32-inch TV, a folding bike, a mountain bike, an electric bicycle, and exclusive Prada glasses.

The pinnacle of the event was the raffle for 4 (four) free round-trip tickets sponsored by various airlines: Jakarta–Denpasar: BBN Airlines Indonesia, Jakarta–Lombok: Garuda Indonesia, Jakarta–Hong Kong: Garuda Indonesia, and the Grand Prize: Jakarta–Incheon, courtesy of Prime Freight Service.

The most special prize is the drawing for four free round-trip flight tickets sponsored by the following: BBN Airlines Indonesia - 1 ticket from Jakarta (CGK) to Denpasar (DPS), Garuda Indonesia - 1 ticket from Jakarta (CGK) to Lombok (LOP) and 1 ticket from Jakarta (JKT) to Hong Kong (HKG), and The Grand Prize - 1 ticket from Jakarta (CGK) to Incheon (ICN) from Prime Freight Service.

JACC Chairman Geraldo Waya and Senior Advisor Glen Lisapaly expressed their gratitude to all attendees, particularly the leaders and executives from the transportation and logistics sectors, as well as the sponsors who made the event possible.

In keeping with tradition, JACC also conducted social and humanitarian initiatives under the “JACC Peduli” program. These activities included: - assisting the family of the late Mr. Yohanes, a staff member of PT JAS Airport Services, during his hospitalization, - donating food (sembako) and financial aid to the Suaka Kasih Bunda Orphanage in Serpong, and providing financial assistance to the family of the late Muhamad Arief "Ajo," a JACC administrator and respected air cargo logistics professional at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.

The “AJOY of the Year” celebration was a testament to JACC’s enduring community spirit and commitment to fostering camaraderie and goodwill among air cargo professionals.
