IBS Software Services has reached agreement to provide low-cost American airline JetBlue Airways with a web-based solution to manage its cargo operations, reported Mumbai's Economic Times. Built on new generation technology, IBS's iCargo solution is designed to handle the cargo movement of freighters, passenger and cargo carriers, ground handling agents and airports in the areas of cargo sales, reservations and cargo revenue accounting. "Designed for multiple users, the system is user friendly, especially for a system which handles the complexities of moving cargo. There was no other solution to compare with IBS's iCargo solution," said Ed McDonald, JetBlue Cargo head.
