Garuda Indonesia launched its Cargo Service Center (CSC) outlet in Tangerang, precisely at the Ruko Rivera, Palem Raja Raya Selatan street, Karawaci, Tangerang on Tuesday (4 October). Its branch at Karawaci is the fourth branch of CSC after the outlet at the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Cargo Area, Tangerang City, and Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD). CSC Karawaci is the 12th CSC in Jabodetabek, the others are in Tanah Abang, Kebon Jeruk, Fatmawati, Kalimalang, Gunung Sahari, Cimanggis, Bogor, Cakung, SHIA, BSD City, and Tang City. The launch of CSC Karawaci was conducted directly by the Director of Garuda Indonesia Cargo Sigit Muhartono. He said that the fourth cargo branch in Karawaci was built on joint work base between Garuda Indonesia Cargo and PT. Pradana Artha Dharma, one of Garuda Indonesia's travel agent partners. Today, Garuda Indonesia Cargo's users, especially those in Tangerang, could enjoy the easiness to deliver goods by air to all Garuda Indonesia's routes. The users could choose the services of Regular or Go Express that prioritize the delivery based on velocity, weight and commodity types. They could be customized based on customers' priority. Using the CSC, Garuda Indonesia Cargo gives delivery services of City to Door and City to Port where CSC functions as a Drop and Pick-Up Points. Moreover, by CSC located in down town, users could process goods / documents delivery or pick-up without coming down to the airports. Currently, there are 70 Cargo Service Centers in Indonesia. The 46 CSCs are at the airport and 24 CSCs are in down town directly managed by the Garuda Indonesia Cargo and their partners.(en/mar)
