JAS Airport Services: Applies Airside Safety Campaign
As the company's commitment that put forward the Safety factor in Ground Handling and Cargo Handling services, from November - Desember 2011, JAS Airport Services, a leading ground handling company in Indonesia, applies Airside Safety Campaign in Soekarno Hatta International Airport (SHIA). This campaign contains of operational safety workshop, check on operational equipments feasibility as Ground Support Equipment and equipment support of work safety, and accuracy to cleaning the operational area in SHIA. "Safety is a must in flight operational, as the Ground Handling and Cargo Handling service provider must make assurance that every standard procedure has been implemented. And the most important thing is the culture of safety working environment should be in every staff that does the work," JAS Airport Services CEO, Hotasi Nababan said in his welcome speech. Symbolically, the Airside Safety Campaign was officially launched by pasting a sticker to the Aircraft Towing Tractor JAS Airport Services done by the Senior General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura II, Sudaryanto witnessed by the representatives of foreign airlines that operates in SHIA. JAS, that has been trusted by more than 20 international airlines in order to give services of ground handling process in Indonesia (like Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Emirates, Lufthansa and KLM), operates in 11 airports in all over Indonesia, they are Jakarta (Soekarno-Hatta and Halim Perdanakusuma) , Denpasar, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Medan, Batam, Balikpapan, Makassar, Menado and Timika.(eko)
