PGS Logistics Opens Jakarta Office, Officially Launching Operations in Indonesia

On February 6, 2025, Parisi Grand Smooth Logistics (PGS Logistics) has officially launched its services in Indonesia, marking a significant milestone with the opening of its new office in Jakarta

As a symbol of the new office's inauguration, the event began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Helmut Horvath (Sales and Marketing Director of PGS Logistics), Philip Ng (Director of PGS Logistics (S)), and Popi Nurani (Country Manager of PGS Logistics Indonesia). This was followed by each PGS leader rolling a pineapple onto the floor, a Chinese tradition believed to symbolize prosperity.

On his remark speech for the service launching and office opening, Helmut Horvath, Sales and Marketing Director of PGS Logistics, shared that the company views Indonesia as a key growth market. He emphasized that the decision to establish a presence in Jakarta reflects the company’s commitment to expanding its operations in the region.

“I am honored to be here today and thrilled to officially open our office in Indonesia,” Helmut said.

“This expansion signifies not only the growth of our business in this dynamic market, but also our long-term commitment to the region,” he revealed the company’s target.

Helmut highlighted the importance of having a local office to support operations and foster teamwork among staff. He expressed his hopes to open additional offices across Indonesia as the market continues to grow.

“Establishing more offices in Indonesia is a key goal for us as the market here continues to develop,” he added.

Philip Ng, Director of PGS Logistics (S), also expressed his pride in the company’s expansion. “It is a great honor to celebrate the opening of this new office,” he said. “One of our key missions is to expand our regional coverage, and this office is a vital step in that direction.”

The opening of the Jakarta office aligns with PGS Logistics’ broader mission to extend its reach and serve growing markets. “Today marks more than just the opening of a new office,” Philip explained. “It represents our ongoing efforts to strengthen our presence in Indonesia, one of the fastest-growing markets in the region.”

Philip also extended his gratitude to the PGS Logistics Indonesia team, clients, vendors, and partners. “I’d like to thank each of you for your support,” he said. “Let’s work together to ensure that PGS continues to shine, not just in Indonesia, but beyond.”

Popi Nurani, Country Manager of PGS Logistics Indonesia, expressed her deep appreciation to the global headquarters for their unwavering support. “I am incredibly grateful to all of you for taking the time to join us today,” she said. “We are excited to contribute to the growth and to make Indonesia’s freight forwarding industry more colourful.”

Popi also expressed pride in PGS Logistics Indonesia becoming an integral part of PGS Global. “We are proud to officially be a part of PGS Global,” she stated. “This event is a pivotal moment in our journey, and we are excited for the future of PGS in Indonesia.”

Looking ahead, Popi is optimistic that this milestone will further fuel PGS Logistics Indonesia’s growth, not just in Jakarta, but across the entire country.
