Around 04.00 am on April 18, Korean Air Cargo freighter B747-400F arrived at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Cengkareng. The freighter HL 7467 flied from Incheon International Airport, South Korea, carrying special cargo from Milan, Italia. The freighter stopped at R14 apron at Cargo Warehouse Area, around 5 meter from parking mark. The freighter parked unusual in order to easily unload the special cargo, a 14-long and 20-ton weight machine, without touching the building (warehouse). "This morning, the freighter with capacity around 100 ton will unload around 70 ton, while the remaining (30 ton) will be unloaded in Penang, Malaysia," said Dahlar Danial, Traffic Manager Korean Air Cargo Indonesia. Before the freighter arrival, Korean Air Cargo team and 'dedicated team' from PT Gapura Angkasa as ground handling operator of Korean Air, took a briefing, directly led by Dahlar. Briefing taking place for around an hour informed around the special cargo that will be unloaded that required a special treatment. In addition, there are other cargoes that were unloaded at Cengkareng. The unloading process started with one by one unloading the regular cargoes. This meant to give wider space to unload the main job - unloading the long size machine from the freighter. Then, two main deck loader were prepared. One took straight position and the other one was on transverse position. After unloading the regular cargoes, one of the three machine device was moved to the freighter front side. In view of the model, sometimes the machine could not be easily moved. But, under a good cooperation of the team, in less than 20 minutes, the machine could be unloaded from the freighter. The machine dedicated for chemical process then was stocked at decided warehouse.
