Garuda Indonesia Cargo (Garuda Cargo), as a strategic business unit (SBU - strategic business unit) of PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk (Garuda), work together with three Inspection Agents (RA - Regulated Agent) - PT Angkasa Pura Solusi , PT Buana Sarana Transindo and PT Duta Angkasa Prima Cargo. It is signed by partnership agreement signing done by Rajendra Kartawiria (Vice President of Garuda Cargo SBU), Yon Sugiono (President Director of PT. Angkasa Pura Solusi), Hasudungan Pandiangan (Director of PT Buana Sarana Transindo) and Mochamad Djadja (Managing Director of PT Duta Angkasa Prima Cargo). The signing was witnessed by Muhammad Nur (VP Corporate Security Garuda) and Batara Silaban (Management and Technical Director of Armada Garuda). RA or inspection agent is a legal and official company that holds a license from General Directorate of Aviation Transportation (Transportation Ministry) to conduct safety check toward cargoes and posts. This partnership between Garuda Cargo and Corporate Security in developing partnership with those three RA companies is a continual effort to keep improving the safety and security services for consumers of cargo delivery. The appointment of the three RA companies is based on the reliable facilities and infrastructure that they have, and they are also able to accommodate for 1,100,000 kgs per month at minimum. Therefore, by this partnership, colleagues and consumers are not necessary to receive goods both in RA and Garuda Cargo warehouse for there's been a "One Stop Service" that means it's RA that will receive and check the goods. Later, Garuda Cargo will set four staffs in each RA to accept, capture data and conduct AVSEC supervision in order to guarantee the goods are safe and proceeded on schedule. Those procedures are also to avoid dangerous goods to enter. All goods at RA will be screened, accepted, collected, and sorted; after that, they will be stated in 1 invoice (AWB), so then partner will only pay the specified amount on AWB. The goods, then, will be carried to Garuda Cargo warehouse by fast track and be prepared to the designated route.
