26 Years JNE "Inspire Indonesia"
On 26 November 2016, JNE, a company that runs its business in goods delivery expedition and courier services, celebrated its 26th anniversary. JNE commits to give prime service quality with the tagline "Connecting Happiness" by making development and innovation to meet customers' various needs. Since 2010, the numbers of JNE's delivery transaction also increased by 30% consistently every year, in line with e-commerce development in digital era. Until the end of this year, JNE's delivery capacity has reached 16 million packages every month and been predicted to increase around 30% until 40% in the next year. The increase of infrastructure and network expansion keeps being carried out. Now, JNE has more than 6000 networks in Indonesia. In the future, there will be additional networks around 10% - 15% together with partnership opening to become JNE's partners that is always open. In this year, JNE builds and operates a new building in several cities like Medan, Batam, Bandung, Semarang, Wango (Central Java) and Surabaya that function as an office as well as service point and gateway. The support for operational performance maximizes the package distribution process so that the delivery to remote areas could be more efficient in terms of time. M. Feriadi, President Director of JNE said, "The 26th anniversary brings a theme "Inspire Indonesia". JNE strongly wants to give more inspiration for the nation; in every step, JNE aims to give big value for the employees, retail customers and corporates, partners, UKM and whole community. Hope, in the future, JNE should also contribute to advance the nation as well as the state." Many strategies have been done to expand JNE's partnership with other parties, one of them is to work together with leading bicycle communities to form eco-courier. This partnership is a form of compassion towards environment and solution over delivery operation in the middle of big city's congestion (Jakarta, etc). JNE will also optimize the network in domestic further so that it will be connected online and increase SMS system of delivery status to customers to be more detailed about the package position. Moreover, JNE's capability for abroad delivery is developed. For international delivery, JNE can deliver various packages from regular to special handling packages to more than 250 countries in all continents. Hope, producers of local products that have been success to sell their product domestically could expand their market to abroad.
