State-owned airport management company Angkasa Pura II , also known as AP II, is set to provide cash back incentive to airlines serving domestic flights on August 17, 2017 at all airports under the company's environment. The cash back incentive will be offered to welcome the 72nd anniversary of the Independence Day of Indonesia.
The cash back incentive provided is 17 percent of landing services cost, 8 percent of Counter Services fee, and 45 percent of Aviobridge Services cost.
Muhammad Awaluddin, President Director of AP II, said the cash back incentive is one of ways AP II participates in celebrating Indonesia’s Independence Day together with other stakeholders, especially national airlines.
"Hopefully this policy can help the operational cost of airlines, where incentives in other forms will also be given by AP II on other occasions," he said in Jakarta on Saturday (8/12/2017).
In order to ensure the cash back policy is running smoothly, Awaluddin said the company urged national carriers to coordinate with Senior General Manager of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and General Manager at 12 airports managed by AP II.
"Previously, incentives have also been provided to airlines to encourage the growth of the national aviation industry, and the wider network of aviation or air connectivity is in line with the government's projection," he said.
Incentives are given this year to encourage the growth of passengers, both businessmen and tourists in all AP II airports. In the first half of 2012, the movement of passengers was 49.38 million. This figure is targeted to reach 104 million passengers by the end of this year.(netralnews.com)
