Ethiopian Cargo & Logistics Services (Ethiopian), the largest air cargo network operator in Africa, has been crowned once again with two Prestigious Awards at the Air Cargo News Awards 2023 in a ceremony held at the Hilton Syon Park, London.
Ethiopian has taken home the accolades for:
- “Cargo Airline of the Year 2023” for two years in row and
- “Best Cargo Arline - Africa 2023” for five years in row
The prestigious Air Cargo News Awards, the Oscars of the airfreight industry, are voted for by cargo players from across the globe.
Regarding the awards, Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO Mr. Mesfin Tasew said, “We are pleased to be crowned with two titles at the Air Cargo News Awards 2023. The year 2023 has been colourful for Ethiopian in general and Ethiopian Cargo & Logistics Services in particular as it has been crowned with multiple prestigious awards: ‘Sustainable Cargo Airline of the Year-Africa’ at the 2023 Freight Week Sustainability Awards, ‘African Cargo Airline of the Year & Air Cargo Brand of the Year in Africa 2023’ from STAT Trade Times Cargo Excellence Awards, just to mention a few.
Ethiopian Cargo and Logistics Services, one of the major strategic business units within the Ethiopian Airlines Group, currently covers more than 130 international destinations around the world with both belly-hold capacity and 67 dedicated Freighter services deploying more than 140 airplanes including 15 dedicated freighter aircraft.
