Four AP I Airports are Ready to Implement NLE Regulation Program

Angkasa Pura Airports (PT. Angkasa Pura I/AP I), stated that they are ready to implement the Four Pillars of National Logistics Ecosystem Arrangement that has been agreed upon in the Leaders Forum of NLE Implementation.

In the forum, 6 airports in Indonesia are organized to implement NLE Program. Four of them are AP I Airports, namely I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Bali (DPS), Juanda Airport Surabaya (SUB), SAMS Sepinggan Airport Balikpapan (BPN), and Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Makassar (UPG).

Leaders Forum is a synergy and coordination forum followed by the head of Ministries or Institutions, State-owned Corporates/State-owned subsidiary companies, and stakeholder agencies of National Logistics Ecosystem members to discuss the pilar implementation of the NLE Program for logistics entities at the seaports and airports.

“Of course, we surely support the implementation of the program with the intention to gain the efficiency of national logistics and cargo distribution and to optimize business that will be directly proportional towards cargo services effectivity nationally in the end, cargo throughput increase, and company’s turnover,” said Dendi T. Danianto, Commercial and Service Director of Angkasa Pura Airport.

He continued, airports hold a crucially important role in the ecosystem of logistics and cargo distribution by air freight. Through the four pillars implementation of the NLE Program, AP I believes the logistics and cargo distribution by air freight will become more optimal and efficient.

The four pillars of the NLE Program are the simplification of the government service business process in logistics, the collaboration system of international and domestic logistic services, the convenience of state revenue payment transaction and payment facility between logistics entrepreneurs, and arrangement of ports layout and and goods distribution routes. The NLE Program is a derivative program from the Indonesian Republic President Instruction (Inpres) Number 5 Year 2020 about the National Logistics Ecosystem Regulation. The program is aimed to intensify the national logistics work, to rectify investment climate, and to rise the national economy competitiveness.

To support the NLE Program implementation, AP I has applied some strategic steps, amongst them there is an Cargo Integrated System 2.0implementation that supports business process digitalization at cargo terminal.

“Cargo Integrated System 2.0 implementation will ease the transaction process and data exchange between stakeholders who joined in the logistics and cargo ecosystem which will support the acceleration of the NLE Program implementation at Angkasa Pura Airports’ airports in the end,” concluded Dendi.
