Malaysia Airlines (MAS) has been recognized as "Asia's Leading Airline" and "Asia's Leading Business Class Airline" by over 185,000 industry professionals in a global poll conducted by the World Travel Awards (WTA). Since its inception in 1993, the winners of the award are selected by industry professionals from over 160 countries who cast their votes for companies they consider to be the very best in travel, tourism as well as hospitality products and services in Asia. MAS regional VP, South Asia, Azahar Hamid said, "We are delighted to be acknowledged by travel professionals as Asia's leading airline.
