Finally PIA plane was flown to Malaysia

B 737-300 aircraft owned by airlines Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) in violation of Indonesian airspace and forced to land at Sultan Hasanuddin Airport, Makassar, since at 13:30 pm, Monday (07/03/2011), finally taking off tonight, at 22:30 Pm, heading to Pakistan. The aircraft will stop overnight in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and then to Bangladesh.
The aircraft was carrying 54 passengers, including a Pakistani police personnel (49 people), who had just performed the task as peacekeeping forces in East Timor. The aircraft was forced to land by two Sukhoi jet of Sultan Hasanuddin air base, because they could not have documents Diplomat Clearance, Security Clearance and Flight Approval.
Meanwhile, Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Administrator, M. Sidabutar explained to reporters that the airline PIA imposed a penalty of Rp 120 million, for violating the authority of Indonesian air space. Before leaving, the PIA plane also had to fill a 3000 liter of aviation fuel purchased at Pertamina, worth USD 25.6 million.(detik)
