Mohammad Feriadi, the Chairman of ASPERINDO (Association of Indonesian Express Delivery, Posts and Logistics), keep maintaining strategic steps to realize a sustainable logistic and post industry in order to enhance the national competitive spirit to face global competition especially in AEC (Asean Economic Community) era. After increasing the ICT sector , the next ASPERINDO's steps are to maximize the synergy amongst all members that is realized through an outlet opening named "Multi Ekspres". The joint outlet inauguration, as the core of the joint services, held on Saturday (15 Oct) at the Grand Bintaro Soho Block A #5, Jl. Bintaro Permai Raya, Pesanggrahan, Jakarta. The Chairman M. Feriadi, the Secretary General Amir Sarifuddin, all executive boards in ASPERINDO Council, Head of ASPERINDO Cooperative Farri Gaffar and JNE, Dakota, UPS, Pandu Logistics and PCP Express representatives attended the event. As ASPERINDO's motto "Togetherness in Beneficial Competitive Spirit", this joint outlet is formed as the one stop solution to give conveniences of the people's needs in terms of goods or packages deliveries. In the initial step, Multi Ekspres provide services given by five express delivery providers that customers are able to choose such as JNE, Dakota, UPS, Pandu Logistic and PCP Ekspres. In the future, more companies may participate in this outlet. Multi Ekspres is managed by ASPERINDO cooperative as the form of togetherness amongst the members to work together to advance logistic industry in Indonesia. (en/mar)
