CSC Expands the Garuda Cargo Networks
Cargo strategic business unit from the Garuda Indonesia inaugurated the Cargo Service Center (CSC) on 26th January at the Ruko Tangerang City Mall Blok D-2, Tangerang. CSC for users in Tangerang is the fourth CSC that was built on joint venture base with the third party (Operation Joint Venture or KSO), that was with the Garuda Indonesia employee union (Koperasi Karyawan Garuda Indonesia Group or KOKARGA). Previously, there were three CSC KSO spread in Jabodetabek. They are CSC KSO Bogor, Kebon Jeruk and Cempaka Mas. With the new CSC, the total of CSC in all over Indonesia becomes 70 CSCs, that are managed both by the Garuda Indonesia and the management partners directly. CSC location is at a popular shopping center that will give easy access to be reached by public. In the future, the Garuda Indonesia Cargo will continually expand the CSC networks through synergic development with other corporation or directly to the community so that the easiness to deliver cargo by air can be enjoyed by all levels of people until the remote areas. Previously by the end of 2015, the SBU Garuda Cargo has expanded its domestic networks by opening 1 CSC at Cempaka Mas, Jakarta, and 1 CSC in Jayapura. CSC KSO Cempaka Mas is the joint venture product with PT Amco.
