Etihad Cargo Launches Service To Hong Kong
Etihad Crystal Cargo, a division of Etihad Airways, has launched a twice weekly service from its hub at Abu Dhabi International Airport to Hong Kong, China, from October 13 2010, using its new A330-200 freighter with a payload of 60 metric tonnes. Roy Kinnear, Senior Vice President of Etihad Crystal Cargo, said: "This new service, our fourth dedicated freighter service to China, is an important strategic addition to our freight network. "Hong Kong is the world's second busiest cargo hub, giving us huge growth potential and a strengthened product to offer our global key accounts. "We look forward to reinforcing trade ties between China and the UAE through this new cargo route." In addition to Hong Kong, Etihad Crystal Cargo operates to Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou in China. With its fleet of two Airbus A300-600 aircraft, two A330 aircraft and two MD11s, Etihad Crystal Cargo has 23 cargo freighter destinations and 71 cargo destinations across the globe.(etihad/mar)
