Batik Air Achieved IOSA Certificate
In November, Batik Air, a member of Lion Air Group has successfully completed International audit regarding flight safety. Now, they have been registered and joined IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit). The Managing Director of Batik Air, Achmad Luthfie said Batik Air has worked hard to obtain this certificate. The audit was done for three months to do check list over 1,000 items and should be completed. "Both the technical and safety sides have been completed," said he. With this certificate, Batik Air has been declared pass the international standardization of flight safety. Batik Air fully implement the safety management that is stipulated in international flight world. "This is very encouraging. When you want to fly abroad, the other country will ask if your company has passed IOSA?" he said. IOSA is designed to evaluate and assess the operational management and control system over an airline. The audit will use more than 900 international harmonization standards and recommended practices. (en)
