The subsidiary of PT Angkasa Pura II, PT Angkasa Pura Kargo will make a project of cargo village at the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (SHIA). The project is targeted to finish in 2018. Later, there will be two accesses to cargo village; one access is to pass through airport toll like Kunciran Toll, and the other one is by freight train. The train, partially, will use airport railway. "Kunciran Toll has established partly. There will be several toll ways that needs time to build. The building execution may not happen at the same time with the cargo village building. Therefore, one of the transport using airport train. Same track, yet there's an addition to line one apron or warehouse. For the people transport, we use a railway station, which is separated," said the Managing Director of PT Angkasa Pura II Muhammad Awaluddin to detikFinance, Sunday (1/1/2017). The estimation to build the cargo village zone needs a budget for Rp. 2.3 - 2.5 trillion of 2017 PT AP II's capital expenditure (capex) that is worth Rp. 9.2 trillion. "It's around Rp 2.3-2.5 trillion of self-financing, capex itself is worth Rp 9,2 triliun," Awaluddin explained. The budget is allocated to build some facilities on a 90 hectares land in Soekarno-Hatta complex, such as apron (the park lot for planes), offices, car and truck park lots, and other social facilities. The Rp 2.3 trillion will be also for office building, commercial building, forwarder building, regulated agent, power house, public facilities like mosque, and supporting infrastructures and facilities/utilities in cargo village.
