To welcome the 76th Indonesian Republic Independence Day, SiCepat Ekspress (SiCepat) distributed donations in the form of 500 groceries packages valued 50 million rupiahs for DKI Jakarta Veteran Legion on Monday, 16 August 2021.

The groceries donation was given as a form of SiCepat care to the veterans that have contributed themselves to yield independence for the Indonesian Republic. Moreover, the veterans are a group of vulnerable people and most of them have been older than 60 years old who need helps in this Covid-19 pandemic.

“Through SiCepat Peduli, we distributed the groceries packages for the veterans, the majority are above 50 years old. Hope, the groceries packages could help them survive in facing the Covid-19 pandemic. At the moment of Indonesian Republic Independence Day, their warrior spirits could inspire the Indonesian generation to strive for the proud of the nation,” said The Kim Hai, CEO of SiCepat Ekspres.

Meanwhile, H. Bustam Chaidir, an Indonesian Republic Veterans Legion treasurer said, “Thanks to the cares that have been given by SiCepat Ekspres to the Indonesian Republic Veterans Legion. During this pandemic moment, this kind of help would be essential for the veterans who, majority, have been older than 50 years old. Hope, SiCepat Ekspress could share the benefits and contribution for the Nation as well as to inspire the nation generation.”

Not only did distribute donations to the Indonesian Veterans, but SiCepat also filled the moment of Indonesian Independence by contributing actively in a social movement to support “Gerakan Warga Bantu Warga” (People Help People Movement) delivering 244 groceries packages to 10 cities in Indonesia.

SiCepat Ekspres also help Amazon Web Service Indonesia to deliver 2,380 groceries packages for trained community of Yayasan Usaha Mulia in Cianjur, Margakarya inhabitant, Karawang and self-isolation patients in DKI Jakarta.

Moreover, through #Indonesiapastibisa movement, SiCepat helps Covid-19 countermeasures in Indonesia. Up to today, SiCepat have helped deliver donations of 9,950 groceries packages, 6,000 medicine packages, and concentrator oxygen to Java islands and outside Java. (mar)
