PT. Gapura Angkasa Airport Services (Gapura Angkasa), a national company that provides airport service/ground handling in 24 major airports in Indonesia, accepted Safety Audit for Ground Operations Certificate from International Air Transportation Association (IATA) or it is usually called ISAGO Certificate on 15th August 2010. The certificate from IATA was awarded to two airports out of 24 airports that Gapura Angkasa serves. They are Soekarno-Hatta international airport and Ngurah Rai airport, Denpasar-Bali. On 19th August 2010, at Muligan Bistro in Soewarna Golf, Cengkareng, Gapura Angkasa held a breakfasting event where the ISAGO award ceremony was also held. The event was attended by the president Director og PT. Gapura Angkasa, Subagyo and its managers, airlines representatives, Soekarno-Hatta airport administrator, representatives from Angkasa Pura I and II, and other guests. After obtaining ISAGO, Gapura Angkasa is no longer audited by airlines, but it will be audited by IATA. However, this achievement is valid only for two years, a period that has been applied by airlines. Following the expiry of the two-year certification, Gapura Angkasa commits to continuously making progress in order to reach zero accidents rate, so world's acknowledgement and the audit performed by IATA will continue to be verified during the period of the audit. Since the award acceptance, Gapura Angkasa is the 65th provider in the world that is from Asia who accepted the ISAGO certificate from IATA. In Asia, there are 17 terminals that have obtained the similar award including Indonesia. Among ISAGO certificate awardees in Asia are Hong Kong, Korea, and Vietnam.
