PT Gapura Angkasa: New Management, Customer Satisfaction Should Be Enhanced
As it is consistent with Special Stakeholder Rally Meeting, PT Gapura Angkasa (Gapura) formulated some important issues; one of the meeting agreements is to decide new board members of commissionaires and management for period of 2011 - 2016. Followings are the new members in management - 1. Managing Director: A. Soebagyo; 2. Operational Director: Heru Legowo; 3. Personnel Director: Marco D. Umbas; 4. Finance Director: Hariyanto; 5. Marketing Director: Tharian. Commissionaires members - Principal Commissionaire: Elisa Lumbantoruan; Commissariat: Haryoso Tjatur P and Rinaldo J. Aziz; Independent Commissariat: Edie Haryoto. These new managing members have been starting to be active since 3 January 2011, meanwhile the commissionaire members will start to be active on 3 February 2011. The decision and reformation in management are hoped to be able to improve services towards customers and to deal with business challenges. The service improvement towards customers (response time) that Gapura has done so far has earned positive response, even though the response time to customer has not yet been maximal. However, the level of maximum service in previous years could be performed by the Gapura management based on the graphic that kept rising every time. According to A. Subagyo, the biggest contribution from Gapura is from ground handling service in the airport. Therefore, the company hopes not to loose the customers that have been business partners in their aviation business. Due to the more wiggled customers' performance make Gapura be optimist to follow the applied regulation. Furhtermore, to face the tight challenges in ground handling business, Gapura is ready to compete with all competitors healthily.(AYOS)
