PT Pos Logistik Indonesia Ready to be the Best One in its Business
In line with the national economy growth, the expansion of logistic business in Indonesia is increasing every year. In 2012, the potential market in this business was about by Rp. 1,400.75 Trillion or increased 8.3% compared to 2011 that reached Rp. 1,306 Trillion. In 2013, the potential market - that hasn't been developed - has reached by Rp. 1,800 Trillion or increase 25% - 35% from last year. This shows that the domestic logistic business has big potency and gets big enthusiasm from many entrepreneurs to do this business. PT. Pos Logistik Indonesia, a subsidiary company of PT Pos Indonesia, has enjoyed this growth for 48% within 9 years (2004 - 1012). At first, it was a strategic business unit, for the logistic business hadn't been managed at maximum capability. Then, PT Pos Logistik Indonesia was formed as a subsidiary company; however, this still needs to be developed continuously in order to give maximum contribution to the company's performance. To know further about its development, the Cargo Times got special interview session with Febriyanto, the Managing Director of PT. Pos Logistik Indonesia. (See at CARGO TIMES Aug 2013 edition)
