i-package Services the First Partnership Innovation between RPX and Indomaret
Currently, PT Indomarco Prismatama, the owner of Indomaret outlets, cooperate with RPX Express- the delivery company - on "i-package". This service is to make customers be able to shop and deliver goods at once in 3,255 Indomaret outlets in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek). In this cooperation, Indomaret targets 30,000 transactions per month. Customers may come as the result of online purchase and the Indomaret's customers. I-package is a convenience concept that will ease the goods delivery. Chief Executive Officer RPX Group, David Batubara explained, "At the first phase, RPX will work together with 3255 Indomaret outlets as the drop-off shipment in Jabodetabek and provides delivery package service maximum 2 kilogram. After Jabodetabek, market will be expanded to all Indomaret outlets in all over Indonesia. The service target can be enjoyed by Indomaret's customers at the end of 2014." In the service, David continued, the delivery tariff starts from Rp 22,500 for Jakarta. And for other regions, the tariff will be different. In this trial period, RPX will provide delivery service for 2 kilograms with delivery time 2-4 days work. Indomaret and its outlet network reach many regions in all over Indonesia and provide operational hour at anytime. This makes Indomaret as an ideal partner for goods delivery service to all over Indonesia's regions," he said. Marketing Director of PT Indomarco Prismatama, Wiwiek Yusuf, said, "Bringing the easy and economical concept, the i-package is an innovation that we maintain to develop. In the future, Indomaret targets to reach thirty thousand transactions every month from the online sellers and Indomaret's customers." Related to the offering delivery tariffs, David said that it is still competitive with others. Meanwhile, when there's a faulty delivery or lost, RPX will be responsible for the insurance and lost 20 times of the delivery cost.In i-package service, various facilities are provided like practical package. Customers can provide the address on the package(s) that Indomaret outlets provide. Then, they can process the delivery at the cashier. This service is supported by the RPX operational network up to 245 locations in 126 districts.RPX hopes the partnership with Indomaret can strengthen the RPX delivery networks to more than 10,650 outlets.This partnership is supported by the sophisticated tracking systems and easy to be accessed by customers by checking the Airway Bill printed on the struck. Customers can track the goods on RPX website, SMS Notification, and RPX Mobile application that can be downloaded in smartphone. Some facilities and features in i-package are a) practical packages,b) accessible track systems, and c) flexible and reachable drop off access, where customers can write the address of receiver on the package. A customer doesn't have to write the address in detail on airway bill. To ease the customers to deliver the goods regularly, the plastics of i-package are also supplied at customer's homes or offices and are available in Indomaret outlets in all over Indonesia. Not only to make the delivery simpler, the i-package also change the way people do the delivery," David convinced. Senior Marketing Manager of RPX' Maria Nathalia, explained some things about RPX include the services they provide, the benefits customers can get using the RPX's services, and things that customers can do with RPX. "There are 4 things that needs your attention as an online entrepreneurs so as to make your items are fond of by your customers, they are good quality products, qualified services, simple payment system, and punctual delivery schedule," Maria said. Problems that customers always face are delivery, such as: who deliver the goods? Are the goods traceable in the location? and the delivery region coverage.
