Continuing last year's win, global carrier, Korean Air became the Gold winner (criteria carry 800,000 or more tonnes) in 2015 Air Cargo Excellence Award held in conjunction with IATA's World Cargo Symposium at Pudong Shangri-La Shanghai hotel on March 10, 2015. Air Cargo Excellence (ACE) Award is held every year by Air Cargo World, an over-70-year experienced publisher in the air cargo industry. This award is highly valued as the winners are voted for solely by the industry based on specific criteria. Korean Air plans to actively develop new markets, expand its freighter network and further implement cutting edge aircrafts to strengthen its competitiveness in order to secure continuous growth as a leading global carrier in the air freight industry.
