In business expansion, relocating the head office to a more strategic location was the right decision. Indeed, the relocation was based on reasons and well-calculated considerations so the operation could be sustainable and smooth.
Therefore, PT. Dharma Bandar Mandiri or DBM Cargo & Logistics (DBM Cargo), a total national logistics company relocated their head office to Tanjung Priok, precisely at Jl. Yos Sudarso No. 15 - 17, North Jakarta.
They solemnly held the official inauguration of DBM Cargo’s new head office on Wednesday, 15 November 2023. Setiawan Sukardi, the Director of Finance and General, and Ongki P. Soemarno, the Commissioner opened the inauguration, followed by recitation, discourse, and closed by cone rice cut.
Not only did the Boards of Directors, Commissioner, Heads of Units, and employees attend the event, but there were also business partners and other honourable invitees. Last but not least, Mrs Endang Retnowati attended the event as a representative of the family of the late Bapak Deddy Wiyardi Hadiatmo, President and Director of DBM Cargo.
Setiawan Sukardi said: “According to the mandate from the late Mr Deddy, President Director of DBM Cargo, who asked us to move the office to Yos Sudarso soonest.”
He continued, the relocation reason from (Jalan) Garuda because the parking area at the Kemayoran office was not enough to accommodate the operational vehicles, plus the traffic density situation.
“The new head office has a capacious parking area for our operational vehicles, and facilitated with a 500 square meters warehouse,” explained Setiawan.
He said further that since there’s easy access to Tanjung Priok port, it’s a benefit for DBM Cargo to develop and fasten the responses of our couriers’ services, and to expand export and import deliveries through sea logistics service. “Tol access surrounds the office location can ease and fasten our courier responses, especially the toll road to Soekarno-Hatta Airport,” said Setiawan.
DBM Cargo, which was founded on 27 January 1999, is a company that provides total logistics management from air, sea, land, and other logistics solutions. “Starting the business as a General Sole Agent (GSA) with Mandala Airlines cargo, then CITILINK. Today, DBM Cargo is a cargo sales agent for commercial planes and the biggest domestic cargo in Indonesia.
The Awards that DBM Cargo received from Airlines were The 2023 Cargo Agent Appreciation from LION AIR, The 2022 Best Performance National Cargo Agent from CITILINK, The 2022 Highest Rank Cargo Agent from Garuda Indonesia, The 2021 Highest Rank Cargo Agent from Sriwijaya Air, and the 2017 Best Cargo Agent from CITILINK.

DBM Cargo has strengthened services of Land Transportation with the operation routes to Java, Bali, and Sumatra, which are facilitated with new fleets: for Cengkareng (CGK), there are 4 CDD trucks, 29 CDE trucks, 8 Vans, and 2 Box cars. And for Kuala Namu (KNO) North Sumatera, there are 10 CDD trucks, 2 CDD Refrigerator trucks, 5 CDE trucks, and 9 Vans.
